I am willing to party with any famine ranger as a 55hp, or with a 55hp as a famine ranger. I play in european districts - just add me. I expect the ranger to use the build I posted in this topic: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...0025930&page=2 if I monk it (spirit shackles echoed for the coldfires that is).
I don't mind inexperienced famine rangers - I can teach you the build if needed.
EDIT - And if I play a famine ranger, please SB over JoJ, and no Boneti's Defense - you don't need it anyway. Serpent's Quickness used right before SB or Fear Me! to speed it up are good replacements.

I have a similar build that me and my guildmates have been using. The 55 is usually a mesmer with IW and SV/AV. The ranger then goes R/Mo and brings Choking Gas, Vengance and Rebirth. With this build we clear UW each time. And with clear I mean, both the smites area and the forgotten vale/town area. Plus the ranger can cap a spider, if he already hasn't yet.

3. Blood Ritual, again, the run takes WAYYY longger whith the monk not having BRs aid.
4. Unusable on Spider Runs since you canĀ“t kill coldfires and will have lots of problems whith the moving mesmers since the spirit is stationary and they like to atack at random (might kill the spirit, and you will have to cast it multiple times to get all the mesmers).
Still, the build is not new (already seen some people using it before) and even if it is usable, i still preffer taking a trap group if i go whith my ranger, and keep my necro SS for the duals
Later.

Gah I want to stab this post in the next and through it into traffic
1. "Wayyy Faster" Imho, Ranger dual is alot funner then necro, and at the smites, I think ranger kills them faster.
2. "More Flexable, We can handle over aggro's" Then you shouldnt over aggro, And with the colds: Spirit Shackles + Colds = GG. (look at sir mad's build)
3 "No BR aid = Longer Run" This is not true WHAT SO EVER. I've been dualing with my necro for a long while, and Not once has my partner asked for BR.
4. I dont go with spider runs. Only smite runs. I dont want to waste my time getting a spider when i can repeat the smite run for ecto's.
I understand i sound mean. But you make it sound like necro's are so much better then rangers and can kill them anyday in a smite run. Imho, I dont care about how fast it is, I think it's awesome that i can do it as a ranger
